Born in the Mid-West I graduated from Chicago schools and now reside just outside Indianapolis in the community of Brownsburg.

All painting is done using oils. Many times I complete the entire painting using a palette knife rather than brush, giving a thicker, more textured appearance. Subject matter is usually scenes of land or water, still life, and portraits. Occasionally I will try my hand at photography.

After painting a number of years, being recently retired affords more time to devote to the art process. Having traveled the country extensively, sketchbook and photos during those travels provide a great resource for painting, as well as the impulsive daily events that capture my attention.
I have work in collections across the nation and have been exhibited in numerous local and regional group shows as well as one man showings. Thanks for taking a look.
